If you set the password, only you or another player with the password will be able to board the ship. Be careful, because people will still be able to shoot it if you're not in hisec. Hope that helps!

The only reason to use the autotargeting module is for the extra locked targets. It doesn't actually target anything in any way that could be considered reliable.
